This is a long one...thanks for taking the time.
What a month October was (as well as the past two weeks). For those awaiting a report, this is it!! Sorry it took so long. 9 days in Haiti, 9 in Mexico City (from one country, through Miami and into the next in less than 24 hours!), then a week in Indiana, Illinois and Ohio with Gary Wright. Last weekend Janet and I ministered in music and preaching at Hutchinson Friends Church right here in good old Kansas. Thanks for all the prayers and the loving support so many of you provide on a consistent basis.
World Renewal International Representative Max Wright and I were with these pastors for 3 full days. Max taught on Spiritual Gifts, and we had a great time of fellowship and worship. We couldn't do it without an outstanding translator like Herve Louis. He is Haitian and lives in Indianapolis. It's a blast hearing him not only translate, but interact with these leaders and pray so fervently for them. We also interviewed each one, took individual pictures and listened to their prayer requests. So many are simply concerened about feeding their families, and doing effective ministry as they work fulltime, often as farmers or doing whatever they can just to survive. Real live heroes of the faith! And boy, can they worship!!
